Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of what your services may cost.

Under federal law, health care providers must give clients who don’t have insurance or are not using insurance a Good Faith Estimate of the expected charges for mental health services.

What this means for you:

  • You have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of therapy services.

  • This estimate will be provided in writing at least 1 business day before your first scheduled session (or upon request at any time).

  • The estimate will include the cost of individual sessions and any other related services you may receive.

My Rates:

  • Therapy Session: $100 per hour

  • No-Show or Late Cancellation: $75

A late cancellation or no-show fee is applied when appointments are canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice. This helps maintain scheduling availability for other clients.

Disputes:

If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above the Good Faith Estimate, you may dispute it through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Requesting Your Estimate:

If you’re planning to work with me as a self-pay client, I’ll provide a Good Faith Estimate before we begin services. You may also request an estimate at any time.
