Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Accept what you can’t control and take meaningful action toward your goals.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy helps clients stop fighting against difficult emotions and instead learn to accept them while focusing on what matters most in life. For women experiencing anxiety, postpartum depression, or burnout, it can be exhausting to feel trapped in cycles of self-judgment or perfectionism. ACT teaches mindfulness skills, emotional regulation, and values-based action, empowering clients to respond intentionally rather than react impulsively. During therapy, you’ll learn to notice unhelpful thoughts and feelings without letting them dictate your choices. The aim is not to eliminate discomfort completely but to increase psychological flexibility, strengthen resilience, and help you make meaningful progress toward your goals while honoring your personal and spiritual values.
Struggling with difficult emotions or self-judgment? ACT helps you accept what you can’t control and take meaningful action aligned with your values. Book a session to start living intentionally and with greater emotional freedom. If you have questions, you can email me or use the contact form.
